Join us for this interactive workshop where we will learn and practice some of the most useful tools in mental health. Motivational Interviewing is a style of interacting with others that increases rapport, trust, and willingness to do what works. As professionals, we have a lot of great advice, but without a person's willingness to take in the information and use it, what good is it? In this workshop, we will learn what makes us more open to advice and how to fine tune the way we approach others in an effort to be more helpful and effective.
